The Defiant System Requirements: Only RAM and Storage So Far
Steam lists 8 GB minimum and 16 GB recommended RAM, plus 100 GB of storage. OS, CPU and GPU are still TBD.
Only two fields are filled in: 8 GB of RAM minimum, 16 GB recommended, and 100 GB of disk space. Operating system, processor, graphics card and sound card all still read TBD. So the one thing you can do right now is free up 100 GB.

The developer filled in memory and storage first and left the rest blank, which suggests those two are settled. The 100 GB figure is currently the only official number you can use to check whether your drive is big enough.
Why there is no full requirement list yet
The game is unreleased, so neither the minimum nor the recommended build is final. Any “system requirements” you find online that does not point back to the Steam store page or a publisher announcement is not official — do not use it to judge whether your PC can run the game.
What about other platforms
- Steam Deck: compatibility is marked Unknown, meaning it has not been verified. Do not read it as playable or unplayable.
- PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S: the versions are confirmed, but console install size and any quality or performance modes are unpublished.
When the full list will appear
As a rule, the finished requirements arrive together with an announced release date. Until then, check the system requirements section on the Steam store page and the 4Divinity product page. Formal announcements also land in the news and trailer timeline.
